"The Cleanse off Mitt"

Its been awhile, (sad face) but I have been super busy trying out new products for you, one of which i'm going to tell you about now.

Every woman hates when it comes to that time of evening and you have the chore of taking off your face paint, some people like a quick wash and use the hated baby wipes (please dont, they are super bad for skin), if your one of those I have the perfect thing for you. "The Cleanse off mitt".

I'm sure you have all heard about it by now, but if you haven't The "Cleanse off Mitt" is a microfiber mitt designed to remove makeup without the need to use a cleanser all you have to do is simply add warm water and wipe clean.

Is it as simple as it sounds, yea it is. You simply place your hand inside the mitt, place it under the warm water and start taking that daily grime off yo face.
For those of you who like a quick clean and use wipes, this is perfect for you.

Me, well I'm the one who wont go to bed unless my skin is squeaky clean.So I use my Liz Earle Hot cloth Cleanser as always at night and I use " The Cleanse Off Mitt" as my muslin cloth and to be honest its amazing to use this way, after using the cleanser I always go in with the Nip Fab Exfoliating pads to get rid of anything I missed. Using the Cleanse Off Mitt with The Liz Earle Cleanser I dont need to use them, my skin is so fresh and clean, it feels amazing and soft.

           

The Cleanse off Mitt is a 10/10 for me when using the cleanser with it. Its far better than using the muslin cloths I feel like its more sensitive to the skin.

Guys stop using those horrible wipes and go buy "The Cleanse off Mitt" your skin will thank you for not using those bad boys anymore.

Budget Buy: Flormar Double Radiance Primer

Hi My Loves,


Just popping on to share with you my new found love that I picked up on Saturday.

Ok so as you know I have oily skin, but it doesn't stop me from wanting that glow under my foundation to give my skin some life, a full matte face can make your skin look dull and who wants that?? Not me anyway.

I love my M.A.C strobe cream and my Charlotte Tilbury Wonder glow but I have found a product that isn't only waaaaay cheaper but so much more beautiful than the two expensive lads I just mentioned. I hate paying way over the odds for something when you can get just as good or in this case better for cheaper.

My must have budget buy for you guys is the Flormar Double Radiance Primer which retails at €12.50.

This beauty can be used as a primer all over the skin or as a highlighter.

The one thing that will draw you to this product is the colouring,  its a beautiful Champagne colour that is to die for when applied to the skin, its makes your skin look radiant and sexy as hell.

The packaging is nothing outstanding but who cares when the product inside is amazing. It comes in 30ml and with a pump.

The formula is very liquidy and one pump goes a long way and it glides on the skin for a long wearing look, can be worn under foundation, on the highest points of the face as a highlighter or alone.

The double radiance primer had an amazing bright effect when I applied it to my skin which highlights your complexion and makes you glow in every light.

Just look at that glow, I feel like crying its that pretty.

 Lets take a moment to appreciate that highlight.

Another bonus is that the product contains an SPF 10, if any of you lucky ducks are heading to the sun, this is gorgeous over tanned skin.

I have been using it everyday since Saturday, I know its not a long time but it is very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow which I love and have been using for months. But its now going to the back of the drawer because this baby is taking its place.

I applied one pump all over my face using the M.A.C 188 stippling brush and my skin was glowing, as soon as I started to apply it, I love it. It glided on to the skin and the brightening effect it gave was heart stopping and I think a tear formed in my eye.

I also applied some of the primer/ highlighter on my décolleté, shoulders and down the center of my legs cause I like my Body to gloooow babay.

I rate this product 10/10, wasn't happy about the packaging, I'm a sucker for nice packaging ha, but the the product inside takes away from that. Its beautiful guys I'm obsessed and in shock at how amazing this product actually is.

Flawless Wonder Brush The Truth

So if you follow me on Snap, Facebook or Insta you will know that I purchased the Flawless Wonder brush a few weeks  back.  I heard mixed reviews on it but I wanted to try it out for myself.

Now I'm not going to jump into this review and say oh I love this brush,because to be honest, when I first used it I absolutely hated the brush. I used it with the Inglot HD foundation which is a liquid formula and this brush made my makeup look streaky and not flawless. I was so disappointed. I know the brush wasn't that expensive but I wanted to love it.

Heading out one night, I decided to use shade 4 from the SoSu Contour palette as my foundation. If you know this palette, you will know that this is a thick creamed foundation and is full coverage. Thinking what brush will I will use, because I have that many I could open up my own brush shop. I decided to give the Flawless Wonder brush one last chance just to be sure.

Oh sweet baby Jesus....

Let me just say, the brush lived up to its name, my makeup was "Flawless" I couldn't believe it, I was going to get rid of the brush haha. Super happy that night I was. There was no streaks, my foundation stayed full coverage and it was applied in seconds. I was so confused because it was awful the first time I used it. So note to self dont use liquid foundation with this brush.

So the brush is described as an "Oval shaped brush, with a very light handle. Through its velvet like bristles and densely packed ultra-fine fibers, this amazing brush is made to ensure an airbrushed effect, with an immaculate streak-free touch."

If your using a liquid foundation I wouldn't agree with the description. Id stay clear of this brush because its not going to do anything for you and I wouldn't use it for your contour either.

But the description is all true if your using a thick full coverage foundation like the shade 4 in the SuSu Contour kit or the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, this brush is amazing. Your skin will be flawless. I love it. 

If your a girl who loves and uses a heavy foundation go and buy this brush because you will love it.

So happy I gave it another chance.

The amazing Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Hey My Loves,

Do you absolutely hate makeup wipes as much as me, they make my skin break out, their harsh on the skin, pull at your skin, I hate every lil thing about them. So I hate to take my makeup off with them before I go in with a cleanser.

I needed a good night time cleanser, one that would get all that war paint off my face.  I wanted one that would melt the makeup off and give my skin a good seeing to and leave it squeaky clean.

I picked up Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, I heard so many amazing things about it.

So Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser is rated one of the top cleansers by so many loved beauty gurus. It contains all natural active ingredients such as coca butter, rosemary, chamomile and eucalyptus. All the amazing natural ingredients that will enrich your skin and make it look beautiful, sorry even more beautiful. The enriched cream gets rid of the daily grime and even gets rid of the non moving mascara that you can never get off.

So there is two steps with this cleanser:

Step 1 - Cleanse - I use about one or two pumps of the cleanser and I massage it onto my dry skin, using circular movements. I work from the center of my face outwards and finish up on the eyes. No joke, that massacra that you can never get off even after using every product possible, this beaut will remove it.
When working it into your skin you can see the makeup breaking down and really melting away. I get so much satisfaction out of this haha I have no idea why, bit of a weirdo.

Step 2 - Polish - Rinse the pure muslin cloth or a face towel under hot water and wring it out before you gently polish the cream off the skin. I do this in sections, so I do the left side, when done I rinse the cloth again and do the right side, again I rinse the cloth and do my forehead, I rinse the cloth once again and I finish off with the eyes. Giving the cloth one more rinse I work it over my skin again. Once finished, I finish my cleansing process by splashing cold water on my face to help close the pores.

This is without hesitation the best god damn night cleanser I have ever used, it takes the day completely off and leaves your skin feeling and looking amazing .I'm in love with this cleanser, it gets rid of everything and your skin feels like new after using it.

My skin is oily and sensitive and when I use certain skincare products my skin breaks out so bad and they leave it extra oily. This cleanser I feel has helped my skin a lot. It didn't make me break out and my oiliness has calmed down and my makeup stays in place a lot longer. Maybe its due to this cleanser because since I started using it at night I have notice a massive difference in my skin.

I bought my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in Boots www.boots.ie, It came in a pack, in it was the cleanse & polish and two muslin cloths. It priced at €20.00.

In my opinion its worth way more then €20 because its amazing and kind to all skin types.

Guys if your on a hunt for an amazing night time cleanser give it a try, you wont regret it.

My love for MAC Fix +

 Hi My Loves,

MAC Fix +....

Guys its annoys me when I hear people give out about this product, the reason they are doing so is because you are using it all wrong. A lot of you think this product is a setting spray and that it will hold your makeup in place and make it last.

WRONG.......

MAC Fix + is a lightweight water mist fixing spray, its is designed to take the powdered, cakey look off your makeup. You hold the Fix + away from the face and spritz the life of it all over that baby and your makeup will look more refreshed and less cakey.

Now I have to say this product is one of my all time favorites from MAC cosmetics, its a product that can be used for many different aspects off making your face look soooooo pretty.

How I use this baby:

Hydrating the face - I spray nearly the whole bottle (slight exaggeration) all over my face before I put my foundation on. I just feel like it helps hydrate the skin more after washing it and helps it blend the foundation out way better two, its creates an even surface.

Also a handy product when in the sun or on a plane to put some hydration back into the skin, as we all know they can dry your skin out pretty quick. A quick spray can make it come back to life.

Fixing Mo Face - After I have all my face products on, I like to again spray the bottle of it on my face ha.. It fixes the makeup and helps settle the powder on the skin, it takes the cakey/ powder look of the face and gives your skin a bit more life.

Highlighter - I cannot put highlighter on my face without this product. You want that highlighter to be on FLEEK girl, spray that face and then apply your highlighter on top, you will be the Queen of bling and no matter what way you turn, that highlighter will be bouncing off everybody.

Pigments/ Glitter/ Eyeshadow - Applying pigments, Glitter or want to make your eyeshadow stand out that lil bit more spray the fix + on your brush and dip it into that Pigment, glitter or eyeshadow and watch it come alive, WOW baby WOW.

You can see that there is more pigmentation and the colour pay off is way better when you use the Fix +.

Seriously Fix + is hands down one of MAC's best products and its a must have in my makeup bag, I cannot do my face without it.

Bellamianta Spray Tan really is luxury tanning

I have fallen in love....

Oh my god guys seriously ok... lets just take a moment and give thanks to those that created Bellamianta Tan... I bloody love you.

If you read my last blog post on "How to get the perfect spray tan", you will know that I got myself sprayed with the beautiful Joanne Woods in Joanne Woods Beauty Specialist last Wednesday.

I have seen everyone talk about the Bellamianta Mousse but I have never heard anyone talk about the spray tan. Well all I can say is OH MY GOD. Its amazing.

When I got sprayed and I seen it going on, it instantly looked beautiful, its not orange at all its a gorgeous golden tan. It gives your skin life and it doesn't smell like nasty tan usually does, oh and another great thing is it didn't even destroy my bed sheets.. Bonus brownie points.

Got  home after getting the tan done, sat down had a cup of tea, an owl chat with the mother and flick through the phone and two hours had past, I was like jaysus I must go look in the mirror and see what the tan is like, walked up stairs looked in the mirror and I thought I was after coming back from two months in the sun. I was like eeeehhhh what the hell, it was amazing but I was afraid to see what it would look like after been on all night.

Im going to insert some pictures, I tried to get the best natural pictures I could without using filters so you could see the real tan.

Before I got Spray tan done and 2 hours after getting it done

Morning came and I got out of bed, I had an early start as I had a wedding, again looked in the mirror (Im not vain I swear) I looked like I was after spending the year in the sun haha but it was soooo natural looking it was crazy. I was petrified getting into the shower in case it would all wash off. It always happens to me when I get a spray tan.

It didn't though, it was the most beautiful natural looking golden tan. I was looooooooving life. At that stage I was a bit vain because I couldn't stop looking in the mirror, the tan was ridiculous, loved it. I had so many people ask me that day about what tan I was wearing and if I was on holidays.

Day 1 shower 1 Even in extremely bad lighting in a car and a flash the tan looks so natural

  

Day 2 shower 2 beaming sunlight (in Ireland I know what the heck) amazing tan

Day 4 shower 4 still going strong

Day 5 shower 5  Amazing

Day 7 shower 7 what a tan

I have had this tan on now for the past seven days, I know its crazy, I never thought it would last three never mind seven. I have had six showers since getting it done and it seems it only washes off what needs to come off. 

Now when I'm in the shower I dont use shower gel or any kind of shower wash as that will disrupt the tan.
When I get out I gently tap myself dry, dont rub your skin with a towel ever.
 I also give my skin a good going over with a body moisturiser, this will keep your skin hydrated even though the Bellamianta Tan is injected with Hyaluronic acid, a super moistureiser which provides moisture to the skin, this is one of the main reasons it has a great lasting power. But I still love to use the Cocoa brown Chocolate whip as it helps extend the life of your tan and ensures and even fade and I have to say it does exactly what it says on the bottle.

Im not going to tell you that it will last seven days on everybody, you have to look after the tan and thats what I did and that is why it lasted so long. So try and do what I did above and it will maintain the tan as long as you do it daily.

Girls & Guys Im not joking when I say this is the best tan I have ever put on my body and I am a major tan lover. This tan is like no other and the best thing about it, is its Irish which makes it even better.

I advise you all to give it a try, especially the spray tan its incredible, I have bought the mousse so I'm super excited to try that out.

How to get the perfect spray tan

Who loves getting sprayed?? With TAN ha??

I have a wedding on Thursday and like every girl, I want to be sun kissed.

While getting the bushes on the face seen to on Saturday (that’s the brows by the way) myself and the beautiful Joanne Woods were talking about the new Bellamianta tan that everyone is raving about and she does the spray tan in it, so I said lets do,  it I’ll get sprayed because I’m way too lazy to tan myself.

So I thought I would go through my steps the night before getting a spray tan, these steps is what is going to make that tan stick to your hot bod.

Ok so first things first in my opinion, you’re better off having a hot steaming bath rather than a shower.

Exfoliating, if you read my blog post on how to remove Fake tan you will know that I am obsessed with Epsom salts in my bath, if you haven’t got any, buy some it only cost about €4 and it amazing. I put about 2 – 3 big handfuls in and soak in it for 15 – 20 minutes, it will take of any dead skin on your body, then go in with your body exfoliator and scrub yo body like there is no tomorrow.

Shaving or waxing, wax maybe 48 hours before hand or if your shaving 24. Shaving your legs again, best place to do that is in the bath. Do not dry shave your legs this will cause those pesky little red lumps to raise up on your legs and use a shaving gel, a good one I love the men’s shaving gel (because I’m a weirdo).

After shaving I like to soak in the bath for a few more minutes I feel like it helps the skin recover after shaving and leaves your skin that wee bit smoother from the hot water.

After the hot bath the pores on your legs will be open, we need to try and close these. Tanning on top of open pores is what gives you the dark brown spots on the legs. I like to get into the shower and run the shower head down my legs but have it on cold or run an ice pack down my legs. I know it will take your life haha but girls it has to be done as it will help.

Moisturising, Do not moisturise your whole body. Only do your elbows, knees, ankles and hands as the tan tends to get darker in these spots.

Paint your nails and toe nails even if it’s just with a clear polish as the tan can stain your nails.

The morning of your spray tan, do not freshly shower, I never knew this until Joanne told me on Saturday.

Don’t use perfume or deodorant as this can make the tan go green haha and girl we don’t want to be green. Imagine.. Oh dear god.

Make sure you wear light clothing, baggy tracky bottoms, loose fit t – shirt and wear flip flops on your feet.

Hope this is helpful, I will be following my own rules tonight for tomorrow haha Fingers crossed I don’t turn out green.
