The 80's and 90's brands are back!!!

Hi Guys!!!

So those of you who grew up in the 80's and 90's like myself, will remember these brands:

Those of you who are to young to remember, your in for a treat.

The sports wear era is back with a bang and I don't know about you but I'm loving it, Loving it, loving it. Now its not what it used to be so don't be scared, the brands have redesigned their sportswear and its the bomb.

So lying in bed flicking through online clothing sites like www.asos.com, I was filling my basket even though I have had money, but hoping when I woke up in the morning they would be in my wardrobe. Come on everyone does it.

Actually lets just take a moment and pray for the clothes that we left behind in our shopping carts.......

So as I was saying I was flicking through www.asos.com and I just kept seeing all these 80's and 90's brands coming up, I thought I went back in time. I didn't know what was going on.

Anyway... I am so happy about this trend, I love my masculine side to come out every-now and again, we all secretly love our tracky bottoms and over sized hoodies. I will admit I wore shell tracksuits and rocked my tracky bottoms with the buttons up the side when I was younger, come on we all had them, don't  lie to yourself.

Seriously ASOS has some ridiculous old school clothes from these brands and I want them all. From over sized dresses, t shirts, tracky bottoms to trainers.

Its not fair why oh why wasn't I born with loads and loads of money.

Guys see for yourself, here is some of my favorite pieces.

                                                                         Ellesse:

Both Ellese tops price in at around €42.25

Cropped Top € 35.21

                                                                           Fila:

On sale for €15.49 down form €30.98

Fila Leggings on sale for €29.58 from €49.29

Le Coq Sportif:

LCS R900 Navy Trainers €91.55

Wendon Levity Neon Orange Trainers €84.50

Wendon Classic Charcoal Trainers €77.46

Oversized Boyfriend T-shirt €30.98 available in other colours

Monochrome Block Bomber Jacket €84.50

Reebok:

Shorts in jersey with logo detail €22.53

Classic Grey Suede Trainer with gold sole €84.50

Coral Classic Leather Trainer €87.32

Leggings in Geo print €53.32

Leggings With side mesh panel detail €45.07

Slouchy Swearpants €56.34

My loves all these can be bought from www.asos.com and are reasonably priced I think anyway compared to Nike and Adidas. They can be worn as work out gear or casual wear.

I want them all. Just look at the Le Coq Sportif trainers, I cant deal, seriously. They are amazing.

I bought the grey Rebook  Classic trainers with the gold sole, I wasn't sure when I opened the box but when I put them on... I fell in love.

I love them, I pair them with a pair of white jeans and a baggy grey t - shirt. Simple yet classy.
Love it. Cant wait for summer I'm thinking vintage Levis shorts with these trainers or an oversized white boyfriend tee as a dress with them, outfit inspo heaven.

Check asos out girls, they have some really cool old school clothes, I want it all its just not fair.
If you purchase anything take a pic and tag me on Insta.

Happy shopping.

Kylie, Kylie, Kylie

Kylie, Kylie, Kylie.

I don't care what anybody has to say about the Kardashian/ Jenner clan because I bloody love them and I am totally addicted to every lil thing they do.

Kylie is my ultimate girl crush I love her, who gives a crap if she got lip fillers it makes her lip kits look even more amazing when they are on her hot ass lips. Rant over.

Hi Guys!!

So on the 21st of March I was lying in bed and got a notification that the Kylie Lipkits where back in stock. My heart skipped about 10 beats with excitement and I when straight on to see if I could get some. It took ages for my stupid internet to load (Well it felt like ages) so I was convinced that they were sold out and I started cursing at myself, as you do. But suddenly I got on and I managed to get 4 lipkits and I started...literally,  no joke dancing around my room like a nutcase.

Like I said I managed to get my hands on four lipkits, but I already had two. This was my second order, so I can actually do a proper review on the kits. I have the other two now maybe over a month and have been using one non stop, as the lovely lil sister I am I gave one to my Blister haha sos sis.

As soon as I posted a photo to both Instagram and Facebook people have been going crazy wanting to know how I got my hands on them. So here ya go my loves:

You can only purchase them on www.kyliecosmetics.com but you also need  to do the following to know when they are back in stock.

  • Get Kylie's App
  • Follow her on Instagram Personal & Kylie Cosmetics
  • Like her Facebook Page
  • Add her on Snapchat

If you really want a good chance of getting your hands on them do all of the above. Make sure with Instagram you turn notifications on for both her pages. When you get notified that they are back in stock be quick off the mark because they sell out in seconds, no joke.

So back to what I bought, who wants to see swaaaaatches.

I have 5 Kylie Lip kits hehe... But I don't have all the colors,YET. I have 2 of the same color because I'm giving one away, go to my Facebook if you want a chance to win.

So I have:

  • Mary Jo - True Blue Red

  • Candy K - Soft, Warm Nude

  • Posie K - Dusty Mauve Pink

  • Dolce K - Medium Beige Nude (its my fav)

Like I said I have already been using one non stop over the last month or so. They are a Long wearing matte lipstick, they do not budge. Sometimes Matte lipsticks tend to be very drying on the lips. I never had this problem with Kylie's lip kits, I have with other matte lipsticks. Because of this, before I use any Matte lipstick now I always exfoliate my lips and hydrate them before I do my makeup. So maybe that's why Kylie's stay pefctly on my lips. The Lip liners are a dream, they are so creamy and glide onto the lips like butter. That's what makes me love these so much its they formula, they are so creamy and pigmented.

Pricing & Delivery:

Kylie Lip Kit prices at $29 which works out at €33.03
Delivery to Ireland is $14.95 which is €17.03
Delivery takes between 10 - 15 business days that is for international shipping.
Customs - I have ordered twice and I have not yet been charged

Guys, like I said before I will not review something unless I 100% love the product. I have nothing but love for these, they are smooth, creamy and long lasting and they do not dry out my lips. Again make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your lips before you use any matte lipstick.

As soon as they go back in stock my loves I will let you know by posting on my social media but remember you have to be quick.

Brush it, brush it real good

Ooh baby, baby
Baby, baby
Ooh baa...  Oh Hi Guys!

Love that song and can't get it out of my head all day, instead of push it we sing brush it lol love a bit of Salt-n-Pepa ;), anyways that gets me on to the topic of make up brushes. Over the last few weeks I have been asked so much on what make-up brushes I use and what I would recommend.

Ok... so In my opinion no matter if you're a makeup artist or a plain Joe soap like me and love makeup, everyone needs to invest in good brushes, they will last you a lifetime if you look after them right and they are an essential necessity to creating a flawless look.

It took me ages to find the right brushes, I used to only use M.A.C brushes because.. well just because they were M.A.C but to be honest there is better out there and they're not going to cost you an arm and a leg like M.A.C, I stopped buying their brushes because I found they would shed like hell after I would wash them and that really annoys me.

So I went on the search for a new brush brand and that's when I came across Zoeva Cosmetics, guys these brushes are life, I LOVE them so much and they are so soft it makes blending a dream. They are literally the only brushes I use now. These brushes are amazing, they have natural and synthetic taklon bristles and are super soft but the best thing of all is the price they are not expensive which is surprising due to the quality. The first set I got was a Christmas present and oh lord when I opened them and seen the Rose gold I died a lil inside, it included 8 gorgeous brushes and were about €75.

I went and bought another full set because I was obsessed with them which included 15 beautiful rose gold brushes for €130 I KNOW its ridiculous and before you start thinking awh here this one is sponsored for giving this review I am 100% not I bought these brushes with my own money and have no dealings with the company I just Love these brushes.

Lets take a minute to appreciate how beautiful these brushes are................

So I have these brushes well over a year if not longer and have washed them numerous times and they haven't shed once, the handles haven't come loose like some brushes do after you wash them and use them continuously, they are still like new and the rose gold is still perfect and hasn't scratched.

You can buy these brushes off Zoeva.com direct or you can buy them off beautybay.com. You can buy individual brushes or you can buy them in full sets and they have the nicest sets which come in some amazing colors, their latest set is gold and I really want them, but I will be tripling up on the same brushes, so I don't know what to do. They have a great selection of brushes and one brush can be used for so many different things so you dont have to go over the top and go mad on buying loads of different ones.

Also guys this company does a range of makeup, they have eye shadow palettes, blush palettes eyeliners etc, I haven't tried them yet but I have heard some great reviews on them.

Let me know if you have Zoeva brushes what you think of them, oh and if you tried any of their makeup products Id love to know your thoughts. Oh and remember girls.... "brush it real gooood" haha

My No.1 product for Removing Fake Tan

Hi Guys!

Ok come on girls we all love a good fake tan to make us feel better and it's coming up to the Easter bank holiday and we all want to have that sunkissed glow for going out but you still have nasty tan on from St Patrick's weekend and for the life of you, you just can't get it off and like every girl you say "thats it im never wearing tan again" haha but on Thursday or Friday night you're making yourself go from a 2 to a good strong 8 or maybe a 9 once again.

There is nothing worse than looking at a fake tan on its last legs and your skin looks awful and you have to try and hide it. I have a product that I swear by that speeds the process of tan removal and at the same time is good for the whole body.

So my secret to tan removal is Epsom salts, if you never heard Epsom salts before you can buy it in your local pharmacy it's so cheap and amazing, I buy mine for around €4 or €5. This can be used for many things, it's a great muscle soak, relieves pain, eases stress and relaxes the body, helps muscle and nerve function correctly and eliminates toxins from the body as well as many other health benefits. But it's also a great help for removing tan.
Ok so on the night of the dreaded tan removal, fill a hot bath and dissolve one to two cups in the bath, be careful tho because it can leave you feeling a lil bit woooooooozy if you put too much in. Soak yourself in the bath for about 15 - 20 minutes put a bit of relaxing music on and light a candle and chill the salt in the water will act as an exfoliator and help break the tan and dead skin down just by soaking in it rather than going straight in with an exfoliator scrub I think it very harsh on the skin, then after 20 mins get an exfoliating glove and your body exfoliator my favourite is Soap and Glory scrub of your life or even take the epsom salts and add it to your body wash and it will work also.

This is really an affordable way to remove your tan and look after your body at the same time. Your skin will feel so soft and clean and ready for your next tan application.

Happy Tanning

Inglot Product Review

Hi Guys!

So last week I promised I would do a review on the products that I bought in Inglot Dundalk, after using them for the last week I can now say I can give an honest and truthful reiew on each item that I bought.

Just to let you know, I would never give a false opinion on a product, I don't want to be that person that says they love something when they dont. I have used the products  for the last week and I can safely say that I love them and I wanted to wait to review them because I wanted to use the time to make sure that I actually like the product and I won't review anything unless I am totally in love and let me tell you I am head over heels in love with Inglot Ireland's products so far.

So if u can remember from my last blog on Inglot Dundalk I bought a range of products ranging from foundation to eyelashes and I have used all of them, well the eyelashes I have only worn once because they are so big and fluttery you couldn't wear them on a day to day basis.

So let's begin :):

Inglot HD Foundation:

Oh my word guys this foundation is one of the best full coverage foundations EVER, The first night I put it on I actually couldn't believe the difference, it covered everything, I have oily skin and this is perfect, once I use a primer and set it with powder. I used my Zoeva silk finish brush to apply the foundation and then I go over it with a damp beauty blender and it leaves your face flawless no joke it's amazing. I was matched in the shop to shade 77 as I would have tan on most of the time. Because this is a full coverage foundation I wouldn't use it on a day to day basis, unless you like full coverage everyday, for me this is going to be my go to foundation for nights out and special occasions.

Inglot HD Corrective Primer (Yellow):

Love it, this is the most pigmented primer I have ever seen, this neutralises skin redness and discoloration and it also mattifies the skin which is my favourite thing about this primer, as I have oily skin this mattifies my skin perfectly and goes beautifully under the HD foundation.

HD Sculpting Powders:

I love a bit of contouring and I own so many different contouring powders and these two are up there with some of the best and are now my new favs. I have shades 501 & 502, 501 is a yellow shade and is very similar to the banana powder from anastasia beverly hills contour kit and is amazing for setting your highlight under your eyes. 502 is a great contour shade and creates a lovely shadow under your cheekbones and really slims your face, it's beautiful and leaves your cheekbones really carved out. The reason I love these and have put them up there with my favourites is because they are so pigmented you only need to literally dip your brush into it once and you have enough product, above in the picture that is one swipe and look at the pigmentation, they will last you such a long time and it is such a good price.

AMC Pure pigment:

This is a great product and they have an intense amount of color pay off. I love my M.A.C pigments but these are so much more pigmented than M.A.C's, you only need a little bit and when you apply it to your lid it blends so beautifully. I'm not really the one to go mad with crazy shadows as you will see from my blog on Makeup Geek shadows there all browns and neutral colors but these I love and you get some beautiful colors like the one I have it's no. 85 and it's gorgeous and it sits gorgeous on top of brown shadow, which is the way I use it.

Inglot Duraline:

This is my favourite Product, I love it. This is a clear liquid that can intensify the color of any pigment, you can also drop some into your dried out eyebrow pomades or you can just put some in because I think it makes the gel go on to your brows more easily and they will be on FLEEK. ha

Inglot Eyelashes:

These are beautiful lashes and are so fluttery, like I said before you couldn't wear these on a day to day basis but for nights out they are gorgeous.

Guys I rate everything 10/10 because I genuinely love everything I bought, but like I said i'm not going to review any products unless I actually love them and I truly love the Inglot products I purchased and I will be making another trip to buy some more, which makes me super excited.

If you would like to see how these products look on, let me know and I will upload some pics of me wearing them and maybe if i'm brave enough I might to a short video of me applying the products. Oh sweet jesus imagine.

Let me know what inglot products you have and what I should buy, I would love some suggestions.

My secret to a flawless face

Hi Guys!

Ok so we all love a primer underneath our makeup so our foundation will last longer and we will look flawless, but we hate having to pay a ridiculous price for one. Well girls if you haven't heard about this budget primer by now, you're seriously missing out. You can buy it in any local pharmacy and it costs..... wait for it......€6.79 yup you read that right €6.79 and it's no other then Nivea Post Shave Balm for MEN.

I know, I know its a mans product but honestly it's amazing. I was hesitant about trying it because it was a man's shaving product but after all the reviews I seen about it on Youtube and after I seen my girl crush Jamie Genevieve using it I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed.

So Nivea Post Shave Balm, it's alcohol free and is perfect for sensitive skin if you're a man, ha but for the ladies it too is alcohol free and is perfect for sensitive skin but it's also an amazing primer, it has a manly smell to it, which actually doesn't bother me it's actually quite nice.

I have oily skin and it's a tad bit sensitive, this primer works for my skin and doesn't irritate it at all.

So when you go to apply it make sure you do your usual steps before you apply your makeup, don't be scared when you go to pour it out because it does come out quite runny,  but when you start to apply it to your skin you need to gently rub it in until it gets tacky and it will get to a tacky, sticky feel and that is when you apply your foundation and let me tell you, your foundation will apply beautifully on top of it and will last all day.

So like I said above this primer or post shave balm is only €6.79 and can be bought in most pharmacies and supermarkets and it comes in a 100ml bottle, I KNOW the price and the quantity what more could you ask for.

Guys if you haven't tried it yet, go try it I love it and it won't break the bank, let me know what you think and if it works for you skin type..

Inglot Cosmetics Dundalk Review

Hi Guys!

So those of you who are reading this and are from Dundalk know that Inglot Cosmetics recently opened their doors in The Marshes Shopping Centre on Thursday 10th March.

I first heard of Inglot through Youtube, I seen loads of top youtubers using the brand and from watching them I always wanted to try out their products, I knew there was a shop in Dublin but for some reason I never went next door near the shop and it's not that I didn't want to I just always forgot it was there because it was never in plain sight like Brown Thomas would be or maybe it was just because I love Brown Thomas and I never had a bad experience in it and they have a range of different brand under the one roof.

So when I finally heard that Inglot was coming to Dundalk I was super excited, the store opened on Thursday 10th, so on Friday at lunch time I couldn't wait anymore, I left work for my lunch and headed straight to The Marshes.

I knew once I seen the shop and all the girls that worked there that I was going to have a great experience and I wasn't disappointed, So I walked in and was met by the lovely Laura Johnson (MUA) and awh she was lovely and so helpful, and so pretty I actually at one stage asked her could I buy her face because her makeup was AMAZING, I think I bought nearly everything she was wearing Haha.

The store was pretty small compared to all the other Inglot stores around Ireland from what I have seen on their social media sites but it's cute and they have everything that all the other stores have it's not missing out on anything, all the girls are lovely, well I only got talking to two but they were so nice and complimentary I left buzzing about myself haha, came out full of confidence.

I bought a few products and when I say a few I kinda burned a hole in my bank card, I went  in looking for the HD Foundation but God when you see the Makeup artists that work there, their makeup is flawless and that poor girl that served me I just wanted her face so I more or less bought it, well the makeup she was wearing, not her physical face.

Inglot HD Foundation No:77 - €33.00
Inglot sculpting Powders: 502 & 501 -  €10.00 each
Pro Palette for the Powders - €12.00
AMC pure pigment: 85 - €15.00
Inglot Duraline - €12.00

Inglot HD Corrective primer: Yellow - €26

Inglot Eyelashes: 30N - €12.00
Duo Adhesive - €12.00

I also bought two brushes which are dirty because I used them, so I wasn't gonna take a picture of dirty brushes but they were:

Makeup brush 11S - Flat Shader Brush - €18.00
Makeup brush 31T - Eyeliner Brush - €14.00

I put the prices of what I bought in just so you would know what way their products are priced and in my opinion I think it's reasonable and cheaper than some brands such as M.A.C and Nars Cosmetics. Their foundation and their pigments are priced somewhat similar but then again you pay for a good foundation but that could be just me you could think different, so I put the prices in so you could make your own mind up.

So seen as I only bought them on Friday I'm not going to give a review on the products just yet as I want to use them for a few days to see if I truly love them but so far I have to say I am very impressed but I will give a full review in a few days.

So guys if you're from Dundalk or the surrounding area pop your lil ass into the store in The Marshes shopping centre, the girls are amazing and are so helpful and so far I am loving what I purchased and I have a feeling this shop is going to be the death of my bank account.

Claire  x x x

This Post was not sponsored in anyway, this is my own opinion and review of my experience.
